The Hankins Ranch is home to several breeds of cattle including both Angus and Brangus cows. Angus cattle originated in Scotland but today they are America’s most popular cattle for beef production. The Brangus crossbreeds the superior beef quality of Angus cattle with the disease resistance, hardiness, and maternal instincts of the Brahman cattle.
